Thierry Flamand
Président du Comité de Direction
CAA (Commissariat aux Assurances)

Thierry has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. His key areas of experience are Life Individual/Group Insurance, Merger & Acquisition for Insurance Industry, Risk Management for Insurance Industry and Pension Fund.
He has acquired a sound experience in the Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Industries with a broad range of assignments through his previous positions within consulting firms and Insurance Undertakings in Luxembourg, France and Belgium. 
Due to his localization in Luxembourg, Thierry is experienced in dealing with several foreign practices and regulations.
Thierry is a member of the “Institut Luxembourgeois des Actuaires” (ILAC), and a University Lecturer of “Insurance Regulations” (Luxembourg University / IRE) 

Jean Elia, Dr.
Chief Executive Officer
SOGELIFE

Jean Elia has 30 years of experience in Insurance and the financial sector, out of which 18 as CEO of leading life insurance companies. He started his career with a UK insurer, before joining Société Générale Assurances in their subsidiary in Lebanon. He was appointed CEO of their subsidiary in Egypt in 2006 and in Morocco in 2009. In 2013 Jean became CEO of SOGELIFE, a leading life insurance company in Luxembourg providing wealth planning solutions across Europe. 
Jean Elia has a Doctorate in Business Administration from Business Science Institute and Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III). His thesis and book “Leadership of Digital Transformation” is a useful guide for leaders in the financial sector to conduct Digital Transformation. Jean Elia also holds an International MBA from Paris Dauphine University and has advised several insurance companies in the MENA region.
